Lulu's Quilt

Just take a look at this lovely quilt Laila made for Lulu's birthday. Lulu was really pleased with it and although she does not appreciate the amount of work that has gone into it she really appreciates her special blanket made just for her with pretty colours!

I can't believe that this is Laila's first go at stippling and her binding is really professional! It was made from one Jelly Roll with some fabric remaining. I think the fabric was a called Pop Garden from the Fat Quarter Shop.

Lulu insisted on taking it to bed with her last night so I have not had a chance to wash it yet and put it in the dryer but I will take another pic once that is done and it fluffs up.
