My kids love the Dr. Suess books. We have several hard copies and quite a few on the iPad too.
This week at school the kids celebrate Dr. Suess’s birthday. If he were still living he would be 108!
Sami started off the week being the “Leader” so he got to take the Cat in The Hat home with him. He was chuffed that I had his shorts ready for him to wear on Saturday to school as he had been off sick for the full week before with a nasty tummy bug.
Today is “Crazy Sock Day” for Sami and they are reading “Fox in Socks” one of my favorites but oh so very hard to read to your kids late at night when your tongue just won’t cooperate.
I purchased this fabric a year ago to do this exact thing as they always celebrate Dr. Suess each year but I did not get around to sewing them up. Hmmm a familiar story I am afraid.
Isn’t it great fabric …
Last night I made Lulu’s pants as she too has been off sick. I also made a pair for Melissa her little friend. And she was off to a playdate with a little gal pal today who also has an American Girl doll I made a pair for her too.
Well folks all going well this time tomorrow I should be up in the air on my way to see my sister. I am beyond excited but also very disorganized (ha I know you are shocked!) and a little nervous about the long direct flight with little Eyad. So lots of positive affirmations for me today .
Thanks for stopping by …
