I knew it had been a while since my last blog post, but 4 months? Oh My. So sorry to have gone off the radar for so long. Sometimes life just gets busy. I usually blog late at night after the kids are in bed but after I got back from New York our housekeeper went on two months leave and I was finding myself completely exhausted by 8pm hence the break in transmission so to speak.
So much to catch up on!
Let's just start with yesterday.
My "baby" turned 9, it is hard to believe that almost 10 years have passed since I started to mummy ride.
It is the summer vacation now and most of Laith's friends have already headed to their home country or on vacation so it was a small but wonderful playdate party. Laith's friend Santiago and his brother Mateo, who is Sami's class, came over along with Austin and his sister Grace and brother Jordan.
Due to the scorching summer heat we stayed in and played until 5pm and then headed outside for a water battle and fun on the slide.
The kids had a great time throwing over 100 water balloons and shooting their water guns.

We were all well and truly exhausted after they left but then that was a sign of a good day.
