What a great day the kids had today. The school had its 4th annual Terry Fox run to raise money for cancer related causes.

My day started making 75 fruit kebabs for the after run snacks.
Then we headed off to school with all three wearing their TF T-Shirts.
Lujayne and Sami’s classes had a mini run in the morning. Some high school students came down and buddied up them for the run.
First there was the class cheers …
Sami had two lovely girls who ran with him.
Together they were off…
and Lulu had a lovely girl who took very good care of her.
In the afternoon it was the main event which Laith participated in.
He decided to keep Austin company as he had broken his wrist … that’s my boy finds a good (charitable) excuse to get out of running!
I joined Laith for the last 5 minutes of the run (or in our case walk) with Eyad “wrapped” to my body fast asleep.
I really love the community spirit of this school. Every day I am thankful that they attend this school and that my darling husband works so hard to ensure they are getting the best education.
Several thousand Rials was raised today which is a great effort from all the kids.
