Tooth Be Gone!

When I got to school today to pick up Laith he was soooooooooooooooo excited, holding in his hand "the tooth".

My question is "What does the "tooth fairy" do with the teeth"? Are they kept, or discarded?

Sweltering in this heatwave, again a nice toasty 49C in the shade today!
