It was Ali’s turn to go in and share a story with Sami’s class today.
This week the elementary school runs a program call “Discover Oman” where the classes go out on great excursions. The wee little ones in EC2 got to go to the Natural History Museum today and on their return they were treated to a story from an “Omani”.
Ali had them captivated with his story about the keys to the souk and the marvelous shield that protected his father.
Sami was very proud to have his Daddy there.
Laith went off to the mangroves.
Lulu visited a farm in Barka.
Needless to say they were all exhausted this evening. Tomorrow there are more adventures awaiting them and they are very excited.
Thanks for stopping by …
How cool is Ali! :)
ReplyDeleteDid Ali tell them a traditional family story?

ReplyDeleteSFT he told them a story about his father who use to lock and unlock the great souk (market) doors and about a thief that once came. The kids were captivated.
It was gorgeous to watch.
That is so sweet that he was able to hang out with the class!
