We are having a “robot week” here at Camp Al Abri.
Yesterday we started constructing our robots from the recyclable materials we have been saving over the past month or so. My husband will be thrilled as he hates me hoarding rubbish .
First the kids sorted out our materials.
Then they got painting on the “body” of their robots.
Eyad woke up then and Laith had lost interest so he chose to sit and chat with his bro while we finished up. He really loves Eyad and is always there to help out with him.
By the time we finished that I could see that things were turning pear shaped so we put the BOTS outside to dry, cleaned up and headed for the kitchen for afternoon tea and some play-doh fun.
Today we continued with some robot drawings that Sami and Lulu cut and pasted or coloured in.
Both were doing the “robot dance” when I took these pictures.
Later in the afternoon when it was cool enough to step outside (around 5pm!)we had a little chalk drawing followed by a dinner picnic.
Do you see Lujayne’s cup of milk? Well our outdoor street cat Remy decided to take a slurp but bless her Lujayne didn’t flinch she just shrugged and drank the rest!
More robot fun tomorrow if all goes well , and lets face it some it doesn’t! I hope you are enjoying your summer!
Thanks for stopping by …
Your kids have so much fun during their summer breaks! Mine are sewing and swimming right now. No robots over here.
ReplyDeleteClo, you're such a fun mama! I love the activities that you do with the kids.
