One month after his big party Laith finally got to celebrate his “real” birthday.
Eight years ago here he was …
Yes he was not too impressed about being dragged from my tummy into the real world! One week late, two inductions, 13 hours of labour and then finally we got him out with a caesarian.
And here is he is today …
We were up pretty early for a quick breakfast
(with our birthday bunting of course 
and little Eyad gave him one too …
Once everyone was up we were off to bowling where we all had a great time.
(do you see that little minx in the background going through my handbag! She is always borrowing my lip gloss!).
Sometimes it is better to close your eyes and wish for the best.

Then we went to Pizza Express for some lunch. Lulu was the only one who wanted to make her own …
Sami was not happy because all he wanted was a hot dog which of course was not available being that we were in a pizzeria!
After lunch we headed upstairs for some yummy gelato.
And then home to build a Lego Star Wars ship and play with his toys.
Ali had to go to Dubai in the late afternoon so he did not get to enjoy the cake this year. Maybe we “might” leave a piece for him … maybe …
A lot of huffing and puffing and finally with Lulu and Sami’s help all the candles were blown out and it was time to eat.
A gorgeous day, a gorgeous boy … Love You Laith!!!!
