We have just returned from Nizwa where we went with the family to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. It was a nice couple of days and Laith had heaps of fun with his cousins. Lujayne liked being around all the “big kids” but also enjoyed playing with Sheyam (who is 1 day older than her).
On the third day we had the traditional Shoua (seasoned goat wrapped in palm leaved cooked in the ground for a day). I have heaps of photos of the Shoua which can be better seen at the picture site. Here is the link … http://www.picturetrail.com/photos/ozinoman
The next Eid will be in two months time, I guess a little after Christmas so stay tuned.
