Today Ali and the kids left for their holiday. I think my husband is amazing taking three kids away by himself and I love him dearly for being such a great dad.
Packing was “different”. Initially I had the clothes out on the bed and I could see Ali was skeptical as to how this would work. To make life easier we ended up with this solution.
Everyone had their clothes segregated into their own marked bags. Good luck my darling at keeping it that way 
About an hour before they were due to leave for the airport Ali looked at the flight confirmation again and very calmly said, oh it leaves at 1pm not 1.30pm, so we need to leave in 30 minutes. Mad panic set in but we got them out the door in about 45 minutes.
And they were at the airport in time to check in just before they closed the desk.
I miss them already … but I do have this little fella to keep me busy.

I remember i did the same for when we travelled with the kids. To keep me sane i had packed clothes by date hehe..
