Merry Christmas 2012

A belated Merry Christmas folks!

I would like to offer up a multitude of reasons why it has taken me so long to post but really I know you all don't care too much so I will just proceed.

We had a fabulous Christmas here in Muscat. On the 23rd Sharon and Silvio arrived much to the suprise and delight of the kids who were shocked when they turned up at the front door late afternoon on Sunday.

Monday we went bowling which of course the kids thought was fantastic.

In the evening Uncle Silvio read them the Australian version of partridge in a pear tree, it was excellent.

Tuesday Sharon and Silvio were at our place by 7am which was great as the kids had only just got up to find their goodies from Santa.

We settled in for a long morning of present unwrapping with a small intermission for breakfast.

It was fantastic that we were able to chat to Mum, Colm and Lisa via Skype among all the chaos.

Sharon and Silvio headed back to the hotel and we got ready to join them for a long lovely lunch in the Intercontinental gardens.

They kids would have been happy just to stay on the bouncy slide all afternoon!

After a great lunch we headed upstairs where the kids took over their room and watched a movie while we went a chilled out over a coffee.

Home to bed, we were all so very exhausted. It was a wonderful day and I came home feeling very blessed indeed.

Thanks for stopping by ...
